Known as the cultural heart of Bali, Ubud is revered for its rich tradition and culture. It sits in Gianyar, in the central highlands areas of Bali. Surrounded by rice paddies and jungle, it’s also home to a number of artists’ studios and galleries such as the Naka Art Museum. Here you can see examples of the different styles of painting and how these have changed over time in Bali.
