The visit to the coffee farm for breakfast on the way was very interesting, we tasted all the coffees/teas they make, saw gardens, civet cats and coffee being roasted. Our guide kept us interested the entire time, he really made our day! It was fantastic to find out about the Balinese way of life and Hindu religion.

We stopped to see the rice paddy terraces, Mt Batur and the lake beside for photo opportunities and the history of the volcano. We got on the bikes riding down through villages stopping to see the rice growing in various stages, harvesting and drying. We saw walls of spider webs, ducks in the paddy fields and a Hindu religious procession.
The absolute best part of the day was lunch in the guide’s home compound, cooked and served by his family. The food was so fresh and tasted fantastic it was impossible not to have seconds!

I went for a ride and sight seeing and ended up finding out about Bali and its people, their religion and had a feast!

We hesitated about this…it seemed a bit expensive…but decided to go anyway. When we paid our entrance fee they had a remaining “deal” from Valentines day which included a high tea AND it was a couple of AUD $$ cheaper. The beautiful exotic colourful parrots from South America and our Sulphur crested cockatoos from Oz just inside the entrance. We loved the feel of the place, beautiful garden layouts and open enclosures similar to Australia Zoo. Huge variety of exotic birds from all over the world! Great Birds of Prey display…Did I mention the high tea was delicious too! Well worth a visit! – Kerry A Townsville, Australia

Have just got back to the Hotel from our ATV tour best thing i have done in bali by far. Got pick up from our hotel in legian with all the traffic it took 2 hours to get there, not a problem, at least we got to sèe all areas of bali. The guides were great a couple of bikes broke down but were soon fixed or replaced. That delay only extended our experience. I think we rode for about an hour through mud pits, down steep hills, through villages stopped at the top to take photos and had a drink, when we got back had a yummy lunch, and only 1 and a half houra to get back. Once again thanks to the team at Bali Surya Adventure best time ever.
