Our trip started with a traditional Balinese dance performance with gamelan orchestra accompaniment. We visited wood, silver, and batik artisan facilities where we were guided the artisanal process and given the opportunity to purchase keepsakes. We visited a traditional Balinese family home and we learnt about the local religious practices, including the family temples. The elephant cave temple, which was incredible. After this we went to the Monkey Forest which is another a must see. We also saw a giant, breathtaking waterfall the central market in Ubud, and the Ubud Palace. We also stopped to see the Tegalalang Rice terraces which are stunning. – A TripAdvisor Member
