Sekumpul Waterfalls
A tour of Bali’s waterfalls wouldn’t be complete without a visit to what many would list as the island’s most beautiful – the Sekumpul Waterfalls. Trek deep within the bamboo forests of Singaraja, to find the cluster of seven falls that careen down an 80m façade of lush greenery. Lounge at the base of the falls in the gazebos while taking in the views or take a dip in the refreshing cool waters.

A day of exploring culture wouldn’t be complete with sampling the best recipes of the local food! From spicy satays, to coconut curries, and many varieties of rice and vegetables, Indonesian food is some of the most flavorful in the world. Enjoy a family-style buffet lunch of traditional Indonesian dishes, prepared by local cooks at the family-owned warungs.
Ulun Danu Temple at Beratan Lake
One of Bali’s most iconic temples and sites, the Ulun Danu Temple sits at the edge of the Beratan Lake. Built in the 17th century, it is a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess of the lake, and attracts those seeking fertility and abundance. It is called the “Floating Temple”, since it appears to be floating on the still waters of the lake, while the surrounding hills and greenery complete the stunning vista.
Banyumala Waterfalls
Compared to other waterfalls in Bali, this beauty is not as easy to find or to access, but it is certainly worth the effort. After an approximate 15-minute trek from the parking area, you’ll find the “Twin Falls”, with two cascades flowing side-by-side down the cliff-side. The 20m pool at the bottom is a delightful swimming spot, with clear waters, shallow lagoons, and easy access to stand under the falls.
